LEXIS
This unit was more intereting than the first one because I have revised some subtopics that I really like. I have learned that words can have different kinds of meaning, some meaning of some words come from their form. adding prefixes, siffixes or compunds to some words we can have lots of differents words. On the other hand idoms and collocations regularly occur together. Chunks refers to language that occurs in fixed units and we usually lean as one piece. I consider this topic also important because it will really help me in order to develop my clss successfully and I will teach my students this topic very clearly because in this unit I have lots of examples and a very good and conrete explanation.

ResponderEliminarI agree with you, at the moment to teach vocabulary we can do it in context , but it depends on learner´s age and level to apply different activities in order to help them to practice and be familiar with new words, that is why the exposure is useful.
ResponderEliminarYes,I am agree with you Mary, I also consider that it is very useful that learners have to be exposed to the language in order to get familiar with the language and get fluent day by day using new vocabulary.
